One of the basic pillars underpinning the Virto Group is specialisation. We look for the ideal land and climate for each product and locate our production centres where the best growing areas are. This is why each of our sites specialise in manufacturing the products grown in the surrounding area. Only by doing this can we obtain the best results: we are specialists.
ULTRACONGELADOS DE CORTES - NAVARRA (1986)
A very versatile centre with a large production capacity. It specialises in pulses, peas, flat and round green beans, broad beans, cauliflower and broccoli.
ULTRACONGELADOS AZARBE EL RAAL - MURCIA (1993)
Located in the heart of the Murcian market garden region (huerta), it focuses its activity on all Mediterranean vegetables, and also on manufacturing roast vegetables (peppers, artichokes, courgettes, etc.).
ULTRACONGELADOS VIRTO AZAGRA - NAVARRA (1994) - HEADQUARTERS
Established as the Group’s headquarters, this is one of the most technologically advanced mixing, packing, storage and distribution centres in the industry.
ULTRACONGELADOS DEL OJA - SANTO DOMINGO DE LA CALZADA, LA RIOJA (1996)
Rice, quinoa, peas and flat green beens (fed by rain and mountain meltwater) are the specialities of this centre.
ULTRACONGELADOS DEL DUERO - SANCHONUÑO, SEGOVIA (2000)
This production centre specialises in producing super sweet corn, potatoes, carrots, peas, leeks, pasta and pre-fried vegetables.
IFT GELCAMPO - MURTOSA, PORTUGAL (2005)
A Logistics and Commercial centre, which Virto Group has been in partnership with since 2005. It is a centre specialising in product selection, cleaning, calibration and packing - as well as the sales function for a wide range of products. It is a well-known leader in the Portuguese market.
MALLÉN LOGISTICS CENTRE - ZARAGOZA (2006)
Strategically located, with a high storage capacity for over 60,000 pallets, providing important support for all the Virto Group’s logistics.
LA ALBUERA - BADAJOZ (1994)
ULBASA - BADAJOZ (2010)
The most technologically advanced production centre in the world for producing spinach leaves, turnip tops and Swiss chard.
ULTRACONGELADOS VIRTO - FUNES, NAVARRA (2010)
This centre boosts the Virto Group’s production and storage capacity. It specialises in potatoes, carrots, broad beans, peas, cauliflower, broccoli, cardoon, Swiss chard, borage, olives, peppers and garlic sprouts.

A centre dedicated to product mixes, packaged and seasoned products, ready meals, etc.
